OK, things have been delayed big time for the site! Stevv's taken some time off to actually live his life (shame on him!) and we've let the cows loose to graze at Skreem HQ while we all galavant off and forget to do much of anything. Nonetheless, we hope there now will be semi-regular updates. Stay tuned. We've still got tapes for sale (see the list below?) and more are coming. Don't groan. Buy one today!! Stay tuned.. especially for important info about Skreem #20, the last 'big' issue of Skreem. Ooh, exciting!

Yes, we always have tapes! Mixtapes generally suck, but ours don't! OK, well you be the judge. There are new ones on their way, we all hope. Don't you?

**NEW** Wild Dancing! Ecstatic Splicing! Two seperate installments of Entox's "Ataxia" radio show. A-side is "Ecstatic" and asks "who wants to hear records all the way through?". B-side is the first in a series of shows devoted to songs with one certain word. This first one is devoted to the word "Dance" (or Dancing). Highlights include a battle between Sylvester & Anal Cunt and Patrick Hernandez's "Born to Be Alive" battling Masonna. Oh yes. 60 mins.

Spooky Spooky! Ataxia Taped 31st Oct. live on WUNH FM. A special Halloween show that can be enjoyed year 'round and which has absolutely NOTHING TO DO with that art-wank-fuck DJ Spooky. Various bits and pieces of not-your-normal horror classics like Anthropophagus, Baron Blood, Plague of the Zombies and more. Features a hideous echo that'll blow the castle doors open. Surprisingly a little more 'techno'.. features beatmatching! (the TRUE shock!). 60 mins.

Parallegalsite The only Bros. Blood tape available at the moment, but still rips it up. Our last 90 minute tape as well. Entox does chop-shocky, Polaris does dog style sex trash. Might also be our last mostly-techno tape too. Get it while it's still warm.

Skreem Audioassault 001 Blood in the Decibels - The first in a possibly long (or more likely short) line of trash collections of original (and some stolen) tracks by various artists. This one features Gizz TV,Aristide Massaccessi, Chris Polaris, Masonna, Jack Acid, Sonic Subjunkies, Fuck Bros., Senical (Choose), Skin Crime, Lasse Marhaug, Neurobreaks (No-Tek), Multipara, The Bastard God and tons more! Also features Lenny Dee in special guest spot. Sweet & nasty! 90 Mins.

In the USA/Canada/N. America, All tapes are $4 each, except for Audioassault 01, which is $5, because we say so Elsewehere in the world, add $1 to every price. And don't forget to add postage.. Yipee!

SKREEM'S ALBUM OF THE MONTH

JUNE (& half of July since we were late with this):
Hot Chocloate - Every 1's A Winner (Rak/Infinty Records, 1978)
Hot Chocolate took Northern Soul and made it Northern Sleaze-Funk for the 70's and no one besides the Brits remembers they were English. Most people remember them for their wicked "You Sexy Thing" hit single which still gets resurrected for TV ads on a yearly basis. This particular album had a couple of big hits, like "So You Win Again" and the title track, but the premiere track was the unreleased-as-a-single (as far as we know) "Confetti Day", a hot butter funk workout with horns & wah wah's on fire, and nary a female back-up singer in sight! The song's about marriage and since our web-man Stevvi got hitched we thought this was the perfect track for the month. We tried to get the Chocolate guys on the phone for Stev's ceremony but they weren't having it.. Come on, like they DIDN'T need the money! For some reason, the person who owned our copy of the album previously wrote "Robert Duvall" on the cover. Is that who the woman is calling? Why is she hot & sweaty over Robert Duvall? We're guessing Mickie Most is pissed about that one..

And, YES!, there is more than this Web version of the Skreem. In fact, you're missing a lot of things not found on this site so stop cheating yourself!

Take Note: We're not doing subscriptions anymore because we're uncertain about the future of Skreem on print! Don't cry, it's not dire. All people subscribed now will continue to get things sent to them to make it worth their money.

To get an issue, N.Americans + Canadians send $2 (issue 19)/ $1 (all other issues) for 1 issue plus $1 for postage. If you want more than 1, send $1 for every other issue you want, and adjust postage costs accodingly. Elsewhere in the world it's $3 (issue 19)/ $2 (other issues) per issue and $3 to cover postage. Sorry if it seems steep but we're poor, dig? Send all your hot cash here:
